What do the sliding scale fees mean? What if I need financial support to participate in an event or online course or training?

Embodied Wisdom is committed to ensuring that our personal development offerings are available to all, regardless of ability to pay. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. There is no financial assistance application needed when registering for a program.

We offer sliding scale fees and ask that you choose the highest fee you are able to afford based on your financial means. 

• Benefactor Level:  Supports Embodied Wisdom’s ability to offer the Subsidized Base.

• Sustaining Level:  This level reflects the actual costs to support this program. 

• Subsidized Level:  Made possible by the generosity of Benefactor Level above and other donations to ensure participation by those requiring financial assistance.

 

If you are unable to pay the Subsidized Level Fee, you can learn about volunteering to offer work exchange, explore setting up a payment plan or let us know how much you are able to pay for this program by emailing info@mbodiedwisdom.com

For programs where there are a limited amount of seats, tickets for each sliding scale option are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. This ensures operational sustainability.

I did not receive a confirmation email after registration

 

If you do not receive your event confirmation email right away, you may receive it within 1-3 business days. It is also possible that the email may have been sent to your spam folder. If you still have not received it within 1-3 business days, please email info@mbodiedwisdom.com and we can resend your confirmation or online course log in information or address any questions you have.

 

What is the cancellation policy?

To cancel registration for an event, you must notify Embodied Wisdom (email info@mbodiedwisdom.com) at least one week before the beginning of the course or event. Refunds are issued for cancellations, up to seven days before an event less a $15 processing fee. There are no refunds for events with registration fees under $50.

Less than seven days before an event, we do not offer refunds. Registration fees may be used as a credit to a future course or event within 365 days of the original event or the first class session.

Embodied Wisdom reserves the right to cancel a course or event within 7 days of the event start date, due to “low enrollment.” Minimum enrollment for courses is 10-15 participants and 20 for weekend/daylong retreats and online workshops/ series. Maximum participation is determined by the teacher of the course/retreat. Participants will receive a full refund for any events canceled by Embodied Wisdom
